What anthrax antibodies does List Labs have that can be used in a sandwich assay?

Last Updated: Aug 30, 2018 01:04PM PDT
Thank you for your interest in List Labs.

List Labs Product #769 (Anti-Lethal Factor from B. anthracis (Chicken IgY)) can be paired with the List Labs Product #772 (Anti-Lethal Factor from B. anthracis (Goat)), to detect low levels of the Lethal Factor, Product #172 (Anthrax Lethal Factor (LF), Recombinant from B. anthracis) or Product #169 (Anthrax Lethal Facto (LF-A), Recombinant from B. anthracis Native Sequence).

For example, a 1 µg coating of Product #772 followed by exposure to Lethal Factor and a 1:5,000 dilution of Product #769 gives a midpoint of approximately 100 ng/ml.  As low as 5 ng/ml of antigen is readily detected using a standard chromogenic substrate.

In addition, List Labs Product #768 (biotinylated anti-B. anthracis lethal factor, IgY) can be paired with the anti-B. anthracis lethal factor, IgY (List Labs product #769) in a standard sandwich ELISA.

A 1 µg coating of the product #769 antibody is used as the capture antibody followed by exposure to the antigen, Product #169.  The antigen is detected using a 1:1000 - 1:2000 dilution of the biotinylated IgY, Product #768 with peroxidase conjugated NeutravidinTM and a fluorogenic substrate.  The midpoint of the binding curve is approximately 170 ng/ml.  As low as 2.5 ng/ml of antigen is readily detected in the assay.
